Recently, two people were killed and four others seriously injured in a Chicago car accident in the Avalon Park neighborhood. According to a recent news report, the collision occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on Halloween. A Dodge Charger was heading northbound around the 8200 block of South Stony Island Avenue when it collided with the driver’s side of a Nissan SUV. The driver of the Nissan was attempting to cross South Stony Island Avenue from east to west.

The Charger was driven by a 28-year-old man, who suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident. There were no other passengers in the Charger. Two passengers in the Nissan SUV died from their accident-related injuries. The driver of the Nissan, as well as another passenger, also suffered severe injuries.

Police are currently investigating the accident. At this point, no citations were issued.
